As tensions brewed between the Horde and the Alliance, Veyralis found himself drawn to the call of Illidan Stormrage, the infamous Demon Hunter. Inspired by Illidan's defiance against the Burning Legion and his mastery over fel energies, Veyralis sought out to emulate his hero, forsaking the traditional ways of his people.
