Born in the Barrens, little is known about Kukuniet's past.
She did not know her parents who were killed by the centaurs not long after her birth. She was then raised by her elder brother (a humble shaman) from whom she learned patience, discipline and compassion.

Being an orphan filled her with sorrow. She does her best to hide it behind smiles.
Far from being a weakness, she uses her sadness as a force to protect her beloved ones: no one should endure what she does.
At a very early age she proved to have skills at handling a sword. She started training very young. Like other trainees she was forced to use her right hand.
As a thwarted left hander she became one of the youngest warrior of her clan.

Magatha's treachery reopened deep wounds and she felt anger for the first time. One more time, someone like family died for bad reasons.
Meanwhile her brother got back from Northrend. Despite her young age she decided she was old enough to carry on the duty of protecting the others.

During the alternate Drænor campaign she befriended a pandaren monk named Firefox.
Though she met many pandaren before in Pandaria, Firefox was one of the rare to continue exploring the world outside the wandering island. She is joyful, curious and enjoy life to the fullest. She is all what Kukuniet need.
Like Kukuniet, she does not seek fighting but will take up arms if there is no other choice.
Over the course of time they became best friends.

It is said that at the contact of the dragons she uncovered the secret of the visage form and casually take the appearance of a red pandaren.
Nobody can neither confirm nor deny this rumour ...
