Shortly after the first war, Helseth was born to human parents who were members of the Explorer's League, sent as part of a delegation to Dalaran to assist scholars on antiquities research. The second war brought about the death of his parents and a younger sister.

With no other relative or guardian, he spent his early adult years as a drifter, a thief, and as a con artist, planning heists and selling information to the highest bidders - yet this stopped after a near-death experience from a failed heist in Kalimdor (his cover was blown as he was betrayed by a former mentor and sold him out to the Venture Co.)

Helseth was left for dead but was rescued and brought back to health by Shandris Feathermoon and her Sentinels. The Rogue spent a year of recovery and reflection in Darnassus before formally enlisting to the Alliance army as part of SI:7.

In the light of recent events, the burning of Teldrassil took a heavy toll on Helseth, as he considers Darnassus his home. He and his Night Elf friends, Ravenstorme and Ylaena, are currently in active duty, enlisting in Warfronts and preparing for a massive assault in Zuldazar.
