Vulpera Restoration Shaman

Somohapian’s tale begins beneath the vast, starlit skies of Vol'dun, where the relentless sands weave stories of survival and adaptability. Not much is known about his biological family. An old traveling Shaman found him in unspeakable conditions and nursed him back to health. His early memories are a patchwork of faces and landscapes, a testament to the diverse family he would come to call his own.

His journey took a pivotal turn when he was adopted by a group of Alliance adventurers, who encountered the old Shaman who had saved him. He was cute and friendly, and the young daughter of the leader of the expedition begged her father to bring the adorable young creature with them. The old shaman knew from the ancestors that they were his path and gave him the name Somohapian, knowing what he would become. Under his new family's watch, Somohapian was cherished and protected, growing up shielded by their love and camaraderie. However, it quickly became abundantly clear that Somohapian was not merely a pet, but a true intelligent species. They had heard tales of Vulpera, but had no idea the stories were true or that Somohapian was one.

This realization that Somohapian was a Vulpera sparked a transformation in their relationship. The adventurers began to see him as an equal—a member of their chosen family. The old shaman wrote a book that she left with the family when they adopted him. This is where Somohapian discovered his innate connection to the elemental forces, what his name means, and how to grow into a powerful Shaman. With the support and guidance of his adoptive family and many master trainers, he learned to weave the restorative powers of water and the protective might of his elemental connection, honing his abilities to heal wounds and shield his allies from harm. He also learned that when his allies are threatened, he can call upon his anger to throw fire, lightning, even acid from the sky.

Despite the Vulpera's allegiance to the Horde and his adoptive family being from the Alliance, Somohapian's heart remains unconfined by faction lines. His loyalty to his 'family' transcends traditional divisions, embodying a belief that unity and understanding can triumph over discord. This conviction does not come without its challenges, as Somohapian often finds himself navigating the complexities of a divided world, where allegiances are questioned and loyalties tested. In many parts of the world, he's not even allowed to adventure with members of his adopted Alliance family due to his Vulperan heritage!

Now an adult, Somohapian's reputation as a healer and protector grows with every expedition into the unknown, every raid against the looming threats to Azeroth. His resolve is as unyielding as stone, his spirit as fluid as the rivers. In the heat of battle, his presence is a beacon of hope for his allies, and a whirlwind of literal fire and brimstone for his foes. Striving to live up to the ideal of the shaman who raised him, he constantly hones his skills so that his allies old and new will come to trust his ability to keep them alive and in the fight.

In Somohapian's journey, the lines between Horde and Alliance blur against the backdrop of a larger family, united not by banners or creeds, but by shared battles, laughter, and the unbreakable will to protect each other and improve through the trials of combat.
