Shadowlands MDI Season 2: Highlights

Season 2 of The Great Push has just come to an incredible end. We expected no less of our teams, who have put on a phenomenal show and accomplished some incredible feats this weekend. We've seen the highest key completed by our champions, Aster.Y, who have just earned their first victory in a global World of Warcraft tournament today!

Even outside of that, this weekend has been spectacular. We've been filled with nostalgia as these teams ventured back into Legion Dungeons, witnessed some new big brain stats, held our breath as we watched our favorite players perish, and saw plenty of close finishes from our teams (that have gone both over and under the dungeon timers),

We can't wait for the next tournament!

Aaaaaaand there it is. Another town portal from Echo Guardians as a rough patch with Executioner Varuth took them out of the tournament.

Method SHEEESH has just called their run in a +30 DOS! A dangerous trash pull took them out, and we saw them Town Portal out of their last run of the weekend as they realized that they didn't have enough time left to complete the dungeon.

Echo Guardians has just earned the fullscreen as our only remaining team currently running a key, as they make their own way through a +32.

Timing this key will allow them to take second place, but depleting it will leave them in third.

So what does this mean?

Aster.Y has just reached 174 points!

No matter what Method SHEEESH is able to do in De Other Side, first place has been secured. Obtaining 1 point would only tie them with Aster.Y, but the determining tie-breaking factor is based upon the highest key completed - currently wielded by Aster.Y with the world record highest +32 Necrotic Wake!

The 'victory' screen has been shown, and we're just waiting now to see who secures second between Echo Guardians in a +32 Necrotic Wake and Method SHEEESH in a +30 De Other Side.
