Echo and Method are now in full catch-up mode, with all suspensions we reported about earlier this week now expired. They only have four days to cram in as many splits as possible, and with the reported 18 characters they had prepped in total, this is a lot of content to grind. Not only that, but rescheduling all the helpers that would be able to funnel loot into the raiding characters was no small feat either, so a big shout out goes to all the people planning the logistics of this massive effort behind the curtain.
While all top guilds are now splitting as much as humanly possible, Blizzard went ahead and made some rather large numerical changes to a handful of Mythic bosses, as reported by Wowhead.
This includes a small nerf to Mythic Ulgrax the Devourer, and a variety of buffs to Mythic Sikran, Broodtwister Ovi'nax, and Queen Ansurek. Some of the changes affect fully avoidable damage, making it more punishing to get hit by these spells, while others are aimed at increasing the healing requirement for unavoidable damage, like the healing absorb on Broodtwister or the tank buster on Ansurek.
We will likely see a few more of these changes in the upcoming days, as the Heroic logs and performance of guilds this week is the best metric for Blizzard to do some last-minute tuning of Mythic. Hopefully we do not have a repeat of the issues in Vault of the Incarnates, where some bosses got massively buffed prior to the top guilds reaching them, only to require even bigger nerfs to make them killable.

Happy Friday everyone, we hope the start to season 1 has been great so far!
Only 4 more days until the doors to Mythic Nerub-ar Palace open and the race is in full bloom!
If you followed the Echo or Liquid streams, you noticed that both guilds once more are in venues for and during the race and also Method will be in a venue again.
Let's check out, where the raiders and casters are staying for the first raid of The War Within!
Liquid will strike from the Team Liquid facility in Los Angeles again, an elite training environment where players can train under tournament conditions using innovative technology to stay ahead of the curve. They also will be taken care of by Chef Heidi, who will be cooking up delicious food several times per day for the whole race, so the Liquid raiders stay well fed.
Echo moved away from their Sweden spot this time and to Cologne in Germany, where they will be attacking the spider queen from the SK Gaming Magenta facility, a remarkable space that's poised to revolutionize the world of esports.
Echo also will be taken care of by the SK HQ chef, so they stay well fed during the many hours awaiting for them!
Method once more will be heading into battle from Waiblingen, Germany, where they gather in the 1337 Camp, home of the elite. A place for guilds to meet up, for teams to do bootcamps and much more. The Method players will also be taken care of by chefs of the restaurant in the camp!
As you can see, all 3 top contenders will be setup nicely to be able to fully focus on winning the race!

As many of you know by now, some players have been hit with a 4 day suspension just before heroic week hit.
Naturally those players have to find a way to get up to date once the suspensions end on Friday evening.
