VDH rework/change is absolutely garbage. Every single VDH, even the FOTM content creators are all blinded by the new talent Illuminated Sigils (2 charges of every sigil). Obviously this provides crazy utility but people need to stop looking at this as if it’s the miracle fix for VDH. All of our issues were fixed by the T30 set and that’s going away, leaving our damage and survivability completely trash and I think changes need to be made to fix that.
Frankly I don’t even know why people are excited about this “sigil build” since it’s incredibly clunky and honestly extremely boring. On top of that sigil of misery and chains are just old now, I’m only throwing them out so I can get the sigil cdr and that really shouldn’t be how you play. Doesn’t even work on bosses because they have to be affected by it lmao.
Where are the new sigils? Like how about a sigil that applies Fiery Brand to targets afflicted by it. That way at least the fiery brand talents that they are pretty much still forcing us to play are useful. In my option that’s more worthy of a capstone then Illuminated Sigils. How about when talented into Soulcrush, sigil of flame applies 3 stacks of frailty, that way when we go into a pack it’s slightly less damage. How about a talent that applies a damage reduction to sigil of flame. Maybe even a sigil that drops on us that increases our dodge by a good amount for however seconds. Something that’s creative and cool. Instead we got Ascending Flames that can apply multiple stacks of sigil of flame. That’s cool since you can only ever have 2 stacks of it and you don’t even wanna do that because we wanna have as much uptime on sigil of flame as we can.
If the devs are gonna rework/change a class, put some effort into it. This is just embarrassing.
