And God said, Let there be Rogues: and there were Rogues.

And God saw the Rogues, and they were good; and God divided the Rogues from the other classes.

And God spoke unto the Rogues, 'I grant thee the gift of Stealth, that thou may move unseen through the shadows of Azeroth. And I bestow upon thee the skill of Backstab, that thy strikes may be swift and deadly when emerging from the cloak of darkness. And I endow unto thee the ability of Vanish, that thou may disappear from sight, escaping danger with a mere flicker.'

And God marveled at the creation of the Rogues, for they were versatile and elusive, capable of adapting to any situation. And God saw that they were very good.
