Acheron is a semi-hardcore raiding guild .We had a great start this tier but went through a very rough patch roster wise during summer ,having to cancel multiple raids but have managed to reform and finish the raid in our own pace cutting down to two days. We are going back to 3 days starting next tier and are focusing on reclears and bolstering our roster, any applicants will be considered. Acheron was formed on Aggramar around the summer of 2015 & is the result of a merge between two old school guilds that both started playing back in vanilla. In legion we achieved 10/11M ABT, 7/9M ToS, 8/10M NH, 3/3M ToV & 7/7M EN. In BFA Acheron moved from Aggramar to Tarren Mill. We achieved Uldir 7/8M, BoD CE, Eternal Palace CE and Nya'lotha CE. In Shadowlands we achieved Castle Nathria CE, SoD CE but failed to kill the Jailer before the season end :( We have got CE in Vault of the Incarnates in Dragonflight Raid schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 20:30 – 23:30 CET. A bit about us & how we like to run our raids: We are a friendly & mature guild with a relaxed atmosphere, and our members are a healthy mix of boomer millennials who have been playing the game for far too long providing them loads of experience and a healthy cynical outlook. and the goddamn zoomers who can press buttons fast and know all your favourite twitch memes. We try to take our commitments to turning up on a regular basis for steady and solid team comps seriously, while not berating people if they go on holiday or their cat dies. Our expectations: • Attendance: We expect you to be available for all 3 raid nights a week most weeks, as why are you applying to a 3 night guild if you don't want to be here most nights? If you’re unable to show for raids we expect you to keep us updated of any absences as soon as possible and in return we try our best to update you about when you will be needed as soon as we know. • Communication: We expect you to be able to communicate during raids. We use Discord, and expect you to have a working microphone. We welcome discussion during raid & between pulls, but try to keep talking during pulls to a minimum. • Addons: Our current required addons are Method Raid Tools, Weakauras 2 and RC lootcouncil in addition we expect you to have whatever combo of DBM/Bigwigs or weakauras works for them for boss timers. We expect everyone to have the addons needed for our raids installed & maintained for a smooth raid. What can we offer you? • A solid community with keystones, raids & loads of fun, but also a competitive atmosphere where everyone is looking to improve & get better. • A competent & understanding officer team that does research on boss fights & stay up to date with needed information, but also understand that real life problems happen, and they come first.
