About Stratosphere |
---|
A guild created during Dragonflight by players frustrated with people who play this game like it's their job. Warcraft is a videogame, and a very old one at that. We have jobs and families to worry about; we don't have the time or the interest to treat this game like it's the only thing in life we have going for us. Our interest lies more in playing this and a myriad of other games together, connected by our Discord. We raid Friday and Saturday nights until we get bored with the expansion, and then we keep playing other games together. We run mythic keystones until that inevitably becomes monotonous, and then we keep running other stuff, because at the end of it all, it doesn't matter what game we are playing. There was a time when I, the guildmaster, cared very deeply about achieving things in this videogame. Then I realized the sociopathy of sacrificing the people I play with on the altar of personal accomplishment in a hamster wheel built entirely on FOMO. If your friends are no longer useful to you the moment they aren't playing this one game, get your priorities straight. Last updated 20 weeks ago |
