The Weekly Route: Tyrannical, Sanguine, Storming, and Tormented

This week’s affixes are Tyrannical, Sanguine, Storming, and Tormented.
It’s a pretty great week if you can manage the Sanguine affix well - nerfed Storming is very manageable so if you haven’t played it since last patch you should definitely give it a shot! Tyrannical is the operative affix in several dungeons, so ensure you have your bloodlust and all cooldowns for the toughest bosses in each dungeon.

De Other Side [back to top]
Watch out for Sanguine when using Night Fae urns to stun packs - make sure nothing is dead or about to die during the stun!

Halls of Atonement [back to top]
Echelon is the hardest boss in the dungeon for most groups on Tyrannical, so save everything for that fight. Be careful of dropping Sanguine under the archers - knockback effects can be saved to move them out of it, or you can just be aware of it beforehand.

Mists of Tirna Scithe [back to top]
Ingra Maloch is the most important part of this dungeon and absolutely should have all cooldowns used on. It’s worth adjusting your build to optimize for damage on that fight, especially as a tank or healer who may have big burst damage upgrades that you don’t normally use.

Plaguefall [back to top]
All four bosses are tricky on Tyrannical - Dagger of Necrotic Wounding is a valuable anima power to help get the bosses killed more quickly.

Sanguine Depths [back to top]
Sanguine and Storming can both be tricky in the narrow confines of this dungeon so consider pulling packs back to the safe areas you’ve already cleared.

Spires of Ascension [back to top]
This is a pretty favorable week for Spires if you need score from it, as the affixes don’t combine particularly dangerously with the dungeon’s mobs.

The Necrotic Wake [back to top]
A few weeks ago, weapons in this dungeon were nerfed, so bosses can be much tougher than you’re used to if you normally blew up one or two with a salvo of weapons.

Theater of Pain [back to top]
In all dungeons this week, but particularly here, you should consider getting two or even all three of your DPS players to use Dagger of Necrotic Wounding to min-max boss damage, as every single boss fight can be deadly with Tyrannical active.
