The Weekly Route: Tyrannical, Teeming, Volcanic, and Beguiling
Nothing is changing about Mythic Plus this week. Rewards are the same. Next week is the first week of the new season, and you’ll receive a key 4 levels lower than the highest key you do this week. The Weekly Route will return in about a month with Awakened routes.
This week’s affixes are Tyrannical, Teeming, Volcanic, and Void-heavy Beguiling.
This is a very difficult week for cutting edge keys, as Tyrannical, Teeming, and the Void-heavy Beguiling pattern are all affixes that slow down the dungeon. These slowing effects won’t be too noticeable in lower level keys, and many groups will find this to be a good week, as none of the affixes are too likely to cause a group to wipe. For groups pushing the limits of their DPS, however, this week’s affix combination will force the pulls to be extremely big to have any hope of beating the timer.
Teeming Atal’Dazar has some fun RNG wherein there are a few enemies that might or might not spawn. Both of our Routes are designed to work regardless of what spawns, though some groups like to change their plan to pull certain groups based on what Teeming spawns are there. There are also Void Emissaries in the way of a lot of common skips, so our routes plan to commit Battle Rezzes to skip these packs rather than fight some of them, as they’re very difficult.

Void week lines up with the event in Freehold where you rescue the keys from the dog, which is tough since there is a Void that will see you as you do this event. This means you’ll need to sacrifice somebody at least once during the event. Tyrannical bosses are a challenge in here, especially Skycap’n Kragg, for which users of our Expert Route will not have Bloodlust, since we’re using it on a huge pull at the start of the dungeon. If you’re worried about doing this boss without Bloodlust, you can instead split the first pull in two so that you don’t need to use it there.

Tyrannical, Void-heavy Beguiling, and Teeming are all big problems here, so don’t be alarmed if you struggle in Kings’ Rest at levels that aren’t too difficult in other dungeons. Both of our Routes feature a long death skip across the bridge near the end - if you’re going to do this, make sure you factor it into your Bloodlust usage so that you’ll have it for Kula the Butcher.

Teeming and the Void pattern are obnoxious in Shrine of the Storm, so be ready to pull many packs you would normally prefer to skip, and be ready for some of the normal pulls to be made way harder with the inclusion of a Void-touched Emissary. To time a higher key, you’ll probably still need to use Bloodlust on bosses, but in a lower key you can save Bloodlusts for the pulls with Void-touched Emissaries to make them a little less deadly.

Our Siege of Boralus routes are based off the Horde pathing and will require some modification if you’re Alliance.
You’ll need to fight a total of four Void-Touched Emissaries if you follow our Expert Route, which is painful but not prohibitive. Teeming doesn’t add anything super difficult - you’ll just have to pull a few extra enemies, though there is an annoying double Commander pull. Luckily, this pull can be skipped at points in its patrol, which we’d recommend doing if you’re confident you won’t accidentally pull them later.

The Void pattern means that any skip you are normally able to do with Shroud or Invisibility Potions will have to be a death skip. We’d still recommend doing these skips, but it means you won’t have battle rezzes available for boss fights, which can be very tough with Tyrannical active. You’ll also have a difficult Teeming pull of five Dervishes and an Emissary of the Tides, which you can’t use bloodlust on since you’ll need it for Galvazzt.

It’s not a relatively good week to venture into the Motherlode - you can avoid many of the Void-touched Emissaries due to the dungeon’s outdoors map, and this is one of the best dungeons to do on Tyrannical week. Teeming does throw a wrench in the mix, and you’ll need to pull much more than you normally would - our Expert Route has added the entire last section of the dungeon, which is normally skipped, though you could instead choose to do more pulls near the start of the dungeon - especially if you have knocks to facilitate extra Peacekeepers getting activated.

Void week now has an element of randomness in the Underrot - you may or may not have an Emissary in the way at the start of the dungeon - if the Emissary is blocking the bridge you need to take, you’ll have to kill it, but otherwise you should just add an extra worm later. You’ll also have to deal with Volcanic being a bit of a nuisance on the last boss - killing off spores more aggressively than usual will help keep the Volcanic at a manageable level.

Void week is pretty good in Tol Dagor - there are a few Voids you’ll have to fight, but they’re next to stuff that you’d pull anyway, and there’s a ton of great spots to avoid taking damage from them, so you won’t lose too much time to them. Tyrannical bosses are never easy here, but among the Tyrannical weeks, this is one of the better ones to go to Tol Dagor.

Waycrest Manor features a very challenging pull this week - but is otherwise fairly tame. The Tyrannical bosses can be tough, and Volcanic is a sneaky difficulty increase to a few of them, as your healer won’t be able to stand still and heal when they might need to. This week, there is a Void-touched Emissary in The Cellar on the right-hand side, underneath Raal’s room, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to use stealth to skip through the area!
