HOW TO INDOOR SHRIMP FARM

1. set a 20 gallon or larger fresh water tank with lights and a heater
2. allow it to cycle fully before putting the shrimp in
3. add rocks into the tank to increase the growth of surface algae which provides supplemental food for the shrimp
4. check the water parameters, the needs for different species differ slightly but most common shrimp do best in a hard water tank with a pH of seven or above
5. set the thermostat 78 to 84 degrees FAHRENHEIT
6. feed the shrimp once a day with algae tablets, figure out how much food they need by giving them small amounts of it and adding more over time, DO NOT feed them more after figuring out how much they need to eat as uneaten food pollutes the water
7. perform partial water changes at least once per week
