We are looking for:

We are currently progressing Sludgefist, with a kill imminent.

We are currently extending so bare in mind there will be no re-clears or fresh runs until we finish the tier. Our original plan was to get the 4 Sludgefist kills for the skip, but due to reforming and starting Mythic late we have decided to push hard for CE before the current tier ends.

However we are always looking for that special someone in every role or class to help us take our performance as a team to the next level so do apply and take your chances regardless of our current recruitment status! The expansion is just starting so we are in need of dedicated people for the long run.

Who are we?

Borked is one of the oldest and most successful guilds on Ravencrest, from forming during Vanilla we quickly took top spot on Ravencrest and held onto it for a whopping 7 years. We stopped raiding and pretty much disbanded during Cataclysm, but after Xmas this year a couple of us existing members decided to try re-establish ourselves as a top raiding destination.

We are a semi-hardcore raiding team nowadays, our goal is to get Cutting Edge each patch.

Our raid days are (server time):

Wednesday: 19.30-23.00 Sunday: 19.30-23.00

We will be implementing a 3rd raid day when the next raid tier hits, this will be discussed with members at the time to fix a day.

What do we require:

• Attendance - We require 100% attendance. If u can`t attend raids don`t bother to apply. This may seem a little steep but attendance offers stability to the raid team and having a stable team is the key to a steady progression. We understand of course that sometimes shit happens, illness and holidays etc.. that is fine if it doesn't happen too often and you inform the officer team about it in advance.
• Punctuality – Be on time for raids and come prepared with food/flask/potions/tactics. Some consumables may be provided by the guild but you need to have your own just in case.
• Communication – Raid Leading will be done in English so we expect you to have a basic understanding of it as well as being able to listen to the instructions on Discord. Having a mic and being able to speak are strongly encouraged (but not mandatory).
• Know your class - Whether you are a tank, healer or dps you must know how to play it, know the strengths and weaknesses, master the rotation and have the ability to adapt on the fly in order to put out the best performance possible
• Be a team player - You are expected to do the mechanics accordingly and perform any other tasks assigned to you by the Raid Leader. We do not tolerate boss tunneling, meter whoring or selfish behavior. You are part of a team and everyone needs to do his/her part for all to benefit.
• Ability to take criticism - Repeatedly ignoring the advice from the Raid Leader will result in immediate removal from the raid or even the guild. We do not tolerate drama queens.

Our goal was, is and will always be getting the Cutting Edge in every tier within a reasonable amount of time so that all of our raiders can get the loot/achieves/mounts they need.

We are offering a stable organization and friendly community (we have been around since Vanilla) with a strong and committed leadership dedicated to improving the guild and the quality of raiding.

Besides raiding we have various activities for our members with groups daily doing M+.
